Every ski we have available to buy is available to test. If you are looking to purchase new skis, the Mountain Air test centre is the best way to ensure you are skiing with gear that is right for you.

For someone new to the concept, what is the Test Centre?

It is the opportunity for our customers to test any ski that we have for sale while they consider buying it. In other shops or online, clients might have to rely on other people’s reviews to inform their purchases. In Mountain Air, the Test Centre means you can form your own opinion with complete confidence before deciding how to spend your money. No one knows if a ski works for you better than you do!

How does it work?

Our customers come into the Mountain Air store, tell us what their level is and what sort of skiing they are looking to do. We usually start them with one ski and suggest a potential other two. Based on the feedback of their initial test, we will adapt our suggestions until we find the perfect match. Clients are able to book in for one day’s testing at a time and can test as many skis as they’d like throughout the day. You pay a normal rental price for the day and then this amount is deducted if you decide the ski is the one you’re looking for and purchase it at the end of the day.

What are clients able to test?

Every ski we have for sale. As people change the way they ski, we have adapted and increased our range accordingly. Ski touring has boomed recently and our clients are now able to test touring bindings as well as skis to make sure every aspect of their experience is fine-tuned to them.

How much does it cost?

It costs 71chf/day to test - but when you have found the pair of skis for you we will deduct the test programme fees from the price of your new gear.
