The ripstop fabric made of Cordura® yarn is lightweight and yet extremely abrasion-resistant. The insulation made from 90% recycled PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic fibers with cross-core™ technology provides superior thermal performance at the lowest weight. The helmet-compatible hood provides additional warmth. A PFC-free impregnation makes the jacket water-repellent. The outer pockets are placed in a climbing harness compatible manner. If you don't need the jacket, pack it small and just store it in the side pocket. The easy-care Eigerjoch Light is ideally suited as an insulating layer in the layer system, as it warms greatly and is still a lightweight.
