Family Festival

The traditional mid-summer festival for families offers a wide range of activities that will delight young and old alike.

The day kicks off at 11am, when Mass will be celebrated against the backdrop of the Combins massif.
There are plenty of activities for children, who can enjoy bouncy castles, a balance course, slackline, face painting, and balloon sculpting.

Join us on Saturday, August 10th, for the final edition of the Trail Running Club, presented by TERREX and led by our ski and trail running ambassador, Jenna Keller. This event promises to be the spectacular culmination of our trail running series!

PROGRAM:

• 09:00 - Meet at Mountain Air for coffee and meet Jenna.

• 09:15 - Jenna will talk about her experience as a professional athlete and her journey and introduction into trail running.

• 09:30 - TERREX products talk: Learn about every technical aspect of TERREX trail running shoes and gear. Find and test your TERREX shoes for the run.

• 10:00 - Embark on trail run guided by Jenna Keller (don't forget your lift pass).

• 12:00 - Workshop/Talk on cooling down and stretching after a long trail run, including exercises.

• 12:30 - Healthy lunch at the Mountain Air Café offered by TERREX. Stay and connect with fellow runners as long as you want!

TERREX is bringing its legendary Waffle Van to Place Blanche. Whether you're participating in the event or simply strolling by, don't miss the chance to indulge in an authentic TERREX Waffle experience.

This event is completely free and space is limited, we kindly ask you to sign up only if you will be able to attend.

Verbier is hosting the Swiss Paragliding Championships from 11 to 17 August 2024.

The Paradelta Club des Combins is holding the Swiss paragliding championships from 11 to 17 August 2024. More than 140 top-level pilots will compete to win the title of Swiss champion in the Verbier skies. The pilots must complete the courses that will take them to every corner of the Val de Bagnes and its surrounding area as quickly as possible.

The Grand Raid BCVS is a mountain bike race organised on 24 August 2024 between Verbier and Grimentz. All starts can be taken solo, in tandem, in teams and even on an E-Bike.

The Grand Raid BCVS is renowned as one of the most difficult mountain bike races in the Alps. Situated in the heart of the Valais Alps, in an Alpine playground, the route crosses various valleys with the highest point, Le Pas de Lona, at an altitude of over 2,700m. With a start in Verbier and finish in Grimentz, a total of 125km of racing and 5,025m of ascent, the Grand Raid BCVS is a legendary race on the UCI world calendar.

Come and admire the next generation of Swiss and international women's tennis at the Verbier Open!

An ideally located venue, top-quality sports facilities, high standards of hospitality and a host of renowned players... the stage is set for this eighth edition of the Verbier Open in the Val de Bagnes.

64 players ranked from 300th to 1000th in the world are coming to collect points and climb the rankings! They will meet in the majestic setting of Verbier and play the doubles finals on Saturday 24 and the singles finals on Sunday 25.

On site, you can watch the matches throughout the week, there will be a restaurant and our partners will be present!

The Tour des Stations is an endurance cycling race that connects the region’s resorts in the grandiose surroundings that define them.

It crosses the enchanting landscapes of Valais, from the vineyards to the high mountains, through natural pastures, small, typical villages and internationally renowned resorts. The event sets itself apart by offering a challenge that is unique in the world: “Take on the gradient of Mount Everest in one day.” However, everyone has the choice to climb “their own peak” from among the six routes on offer, with guaranteed thrills at the start and tears of joy at the finish, as with any ascent.
