From 15 February to 8 June 2024 CONNECTION OF CREATIVITY

CONNECTION OF CREATIVITY: Exhibition of photographs by Frances Bruchez and Melody Sky
From 15 February to 8 June 2024
Creative Space
Rue du Centre Sportif 1

A photography exhibition that delves into the diverse tapestry of Africa, capturing its breathtaking landscapes.

Over a period of 5 years, visiting several countries in Eastern Africa, local Verbier photographers Frances Bruchez and Melody Sky intertwine the vivid imagery of nature, wildlife, and some of its indigenous tribes.

The immersive photography exhibition provides a comprehensive narrative of the diverse ways in which humans and animals coexist in the environment. The imagery includes indigenous people, vast landscapes, and the wildlife. The exhibition visually connects the patterns and colors in the landscape and wildlife with the portraits of the indigenous people, which accentuates the balance created between the tribes and the land.

Have fun, make things, create, transform, discover, invent, be surprised… open the door of the Musée de Bagnes and let yourself be taken on a creative adventure!

Workshop with host Sarah Perraudin.

How do we approach a future world that we can't even know about, let alone imagine? At the Musée de Bagnes, we believe that the creative spirit will be a necessary tool in the face of this uncertain future. String, cardboard, nuts, fabric, wool, leaves, things, tricks, gizmos, and all manner of gizmos are hidden away in the various rooms of the exhibition.

It's an invitation to wander around and discover all these little treasures. Then assemble, glue, cut and snip, and you're free to express your creativity. Have fun, make, create, transform, discover, invent, be surprised… push open the museum door and let yourself be carried away by this great adventure!

The Givré collective invites you to make an upcycled utilitarian object using dormant materials from old exhibitions.

Throughout the year, the Givré collective is inviting you to take part in the "Faire (avec)" exhibition and make an upcycled utilitarian object out of dormant materials from old exhibitions. Do you have a vintage ski suit, paraglider canvas, bicycle inner tube, haberdashery items or fabric lying dormant in your cupboards? Come and give them a second chance and swap one of these (soft) materials for an upcycled object. Freed from a consumerist logic, these workshops are an opportunity to think about a future built on the values of exchange, co-creation and sustainability.

The Great Alpine Terroir Market
Village de Bruson 1934 Bruson
From 15 June 2024 until 16 June 2024
Saturday from 10:00 - 17:00
Sunday from 10:00 - 17:00

What is the Grand Marché des Terroirs Alpins?

The Alpine arc in Bruson!

In the heart of the Alps, the magnificent village of Bruson will host producers from across the Alpine arc for a weekend, from Slovenia to France, including Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, to showcase the gastronomic heritage of these regions.

The Grand Alpine Terroirs Market is therefore the new must-attend event to stock up on local products from our mountains, discover new recipes through the cuisine of top chefs, taste wines and cheeses from all Alpine regions. This large-scale event will also host numerous workshops, round tables, and activities, while allowing discussions on why the Alps are a country, all in the festive and friendly atmosphere of PALP, of course with music, choreographies, and cultural gems.

The idea is also to raise awareness about mountain agriculture through conferences and screenings, but above all to rediscover ancestral knowledge by directly exchanging with the best ambassadors, the producers. Don't miss this event on June 15 and 16, 2024!
