Switching to an integrated battery from the 2020 META POWER 29 range has significantly improved performance. For 2021, we are using all the experience we have gained from our tests to increase performance even further.
Equipped with the all-new SHIMANO EP8 motor, the bike now has higher torque (85 Nm) while the power curve has been optimized. The result? A more comfortable bike with increased control, grip and improved responsiveness to pedal strikes. The new 630 Wh battery significantly increases the capacity, and that's not all... The positioning of the motor is chosen to allow the lowest battery position possible, which in turn means better weight distribution. And finally, a new engine mount, combined with a new generation engine protector, optimizes space requirements and reduces the risk of ground contact.
With 170mm of travel at the front and 160mm at the rear, the META POWER 29 is a bike designed for the most technically demanding routes, both uphill and downhill. With a flatter steering angle and a longer wheelbase, it has gained stability without compromising good handling.
Like the META AM 29, the META POWER 29 will delight performance-hungry riders who want to move and push regardless of the difficulty of the trail. An electric enduro made to move forward and go fast.

FOX and SHIMANO dominate this META POWER 29. The new SHIMANO EP8 motor and the 630 Wh battery significantly increase the capacity. FOX takes care of the suspension elements with its new enduro fork, the 38 Performance. As the name suggests, the stanchions are 38mm diameter for extra precision when the going gets tough. As for the shock, we have the FOX Float DPX2 Performance, which offers infinite grip and dynamics. This modern model in every respect also features the new SHIMANO SLX 12-speed drive and Deore 4-piston brakes with 203 mm brake discs.
